Reviews on the Prince

I was to live in for the time on board was a complete shock , I have cried tears of happiness ( when staff sang us a song ) and my smile has never left my face
The food was outstanding in favor the presentation was out of this world
For our guide was great with service, information and English
I will never forget the anniversary and we will be back with our 2 boys in years to come, Thank you for the 2nd best night in my life.

We would like to give a thanks to First Choice company for organizing a wonderful trip to Vietnam

--------------

Halong Bay is a necessary part of a trip to north Vietnam (as well as Hanoi and Sapa!). Being on a beautiful boat (the Valentine) with 4 other couples was as amazing and luxury experience that is hard to beat. The food on the boat was cooked by a wonderful chef, many courses and delectable; gliding through this amazing part of the world with hundreds of these beautiful rock formations and sometimes islands jutting out of the sea; stopping overnight on the water watching the amazing sunsets - it doesn't get better than this!
We also kayaked into some hidden caves but decided not to swim as in the season we were there (August is off-season and very hot) many jellyfish abound! Also enjoyed seeing the floating fishing villages.
Halong Bay is stunning but we were very lucky with the weather - sun, sun, sun, in a season that is used to major rainstorms (which actually just happened before and also sometime after our trip)

I am going to review the Prince IV Junk in Halong Bay one more time (there are some users who are not sure if I am real, and I will try to steer you in the right direction and convince you I'm not a pawn).
I live in the San Francisco Bay Area, and I went to Vietnam with my husband and two children in November of 2010. I highly recommend this type of trip with children - my 10 and 11 year old loved it......
Anyway, we had booked the Lagoon Explorer and they told us when we arrived they switched us to the Prince IV. I was very worried, but I think we got a better deal. It was amazing. We spent Nov 25-27th on the boat (Thanksgiving reference on an earlier post). We had a private bbq on a private beach, we kayaked (included) and had some of the best food of the trip.
Go to Vietnam -- it is great. I'm hopeful when I submit this posting, that I will be able to add additional photos.

We took the 3 day 2 night trip on the Prince 2 in late October and can highly recommend it. The cabins are very comfortable with large marble bathrooms. There are only 4 cabins and that was very nice as there were only 8 passengers. The crew members, especially the tour guide, were extremely friendly. Food was very good. The route takes you out of the heavily travelled area which is peaceful and great for photos. It was a great part of our 4 weeks in Vietnam.
