Question: .How many cabins are there on board?
Answer: there are 2 deluxe cabins on the Prince I and 4 deluxe cabins on the Prince II, also 4 cabins on the Prince III

Question: How many person can the boat accommodate?
Answer: 5 adults for the Prince I and 8 adults for each Prince II or Prince III

Question: How long does it take to travel from Hanoi to Halong City?
Answer: It takes 3.5 hours to travel by car / bus. The road is quite good. You may stopover 15 minutes on the way

Question: How much does it cost to travel to Halong from Hanoi and return? Can First Choice arrange the transfer?
Answer
- Shared bus: approximately US$ 32 per person/ return
- Private car/ minivan: approximately US$ 50 per person / return

Question: What about the food? Can we have vegetarian food served?
Answer: Good food. The special request for food should be informed 1 day before departure.

Question: Any activity for the children
Answer: Yes. They can play on the beach. Kayaking is not recommended for the child.

Question: How much do we have to pay in advance to guarantee the booking
Answer: 30% of the total amount or US$ 100 per person. If total amount is less than US$ 300, please pay the full.

Question: How far is it from Hanoi to Bai Tu Long Bay?
Answer: The distance between Hanoi and Bai Tu Long Bay is 180km that will take you 3.5 – 4.0 hours. Our shuttle bus will pick you up at hotels from 7:45 – 8:15 am. During the transfer, you will enjoy countryside landscape with rice fields, water buffalos; villages….Our bus will arrange a stopover on the halfway around 20 – 30 minutes.

Question: What is the best time to cruise on Bai Tu Long Bay
Answer: Summer is good time to Bai Tu Long Bay, you have time to enjoy thousands of limestone islands in the Bay, swimming, kayaking and visiting fishing village under sunlight. 

Question: How safe are the boats?
Answer:
  • All the boats are equipped with life vest in cabin, public area, life rafts…
  • All guests are briefed and given safety procedures with clear instruction
  • All the boats are maintained every six months and daily technical supervision.
  • Our staffs are well trained to deal with emergency and safety control.

Question: Where is Bai Tu Long?
Answer:

Question: What should we bring on board the Prince Cruise?
Answer: You are recommended to bring:  sun glasses, sun block, wide brim hat, insect repellents, swimming suites (in summer) or warm clothes (in winter) and original passport.
Tips: You can also bring some Candy, cakes, books, notebooks, pens, pencils or other learning tools for children and elderly in the fishing village

Question: I have heard of the project "For A Green Halong Bay". What is this?
Answer: This project is sponsored by Indochina Junk and other travel company aim to support local people to protect environment and raise their awareness towards sustainable tourism.

Question: Do we kayak on your boat?
Answer: Kayaking is a part of itinerary included in price. You will have longer time for kayaking in 3 day 2 night program.

Question: How do we get picked up?
Answer: We arrange shuttle bus (16 seater minibus) to pick up visitor from hotels in Hanoi Old Quarter. Pick up time is 7:45am – 8:15am every morning. You are recommended to have breakfast and be ready at hotel’s lobby.
Pick up request at Hanoi Airport is not available, it can be handled by private car only, and shuttle bus could not pick up or drop off you there.
Pick up request at Hanoi train station (Sapa arrival) is not available, as you arrive early at 5:00 am from Sapa while our shuttle bus- pick up time at 7:45am. You can choose to get back at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter or Tamarind coffee (at 80 Ma May st, open from 5:00am) to relax, having breakfast before shuttle bus pick up at 7:45am
