I was to live in for the time on board was a complete shock , I have
cried tears of happiness ( when staff sang us a song ) and my smile has
never left my face
The food was outstanding in favour the presentation was out of this
world
For our guide was great with service, information and english
I will never forget the anniversary and we will be back with our 2 boys
in years to come, Thank you for the 2nd best night in my life.

Halong Bay is a necessary part of a trip to north Vietnam (as well as
Hanoi and Sapa!). Being on a beautiful boat (the Valentine) with 4 other
couples was as amazing and luxury experience that is hard to beat. The
food on the boat was cooked by a wonderful chef, many courses and
delectable; gliding through this amazing part of the world with hundreds
of these beautiful rock formations and sometimes islands jutting out of
the sea; stopping overnight on the water watching the amazing sunsets -
it doesn't get better than this!
We also kayaked into some hidden caves but decided not to swim as in the
season we were there (August is off-season and very hot) many jellyfish
abound! Also enjoyed seeing the floating fishing villages.
Halong Bay is stunning but we were very lucky with the weather - sun,
sun, sun, in a season that is used to major rainstorms (which actually
just happened before and also sometime after our trip)
